This page explains, in plain language, how subscriptions to Daily Bible Habit work. It is intended to help you understand our subscription model before you purchase and to make it easy to find answers to common questions afterward.

This page is a summary, not a contract. The legally binding terms governing your subscription are set out in our Terms of Service, specifically Sections 5 (Purchases and Payment), 6 (Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal), and 7 (Refund Policy). If anything on this page conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.

How billing works

Daily Bible Habit is a paid subscription service. When you subscribe, you choose a plan with a defined billing period. We currently offer three plan lengths:

  • 1-month plan — billed every month
  • 3-month plan — billed every three months
  • 6-month plan — billed every six months

Current pricing for each plan is shown on the checkout page during purchase. We do not currently offer a free trial. Your initial subscription period is typically offered at a promotional discount; subsequent renewals are charged at the full subscription price, which is disclosed before you complete your first purchase.

All charges are in US dollars. Sales tax may be added where required by law.

Auto-renewal

Your subscription renews automatically. At the end of each billing period, your subscription will renew for another period of the same length, and your payment method will be charged at the full subscription price.

By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. We will not ask you to confirm each individual renewal charge.

How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time by sending an email to support@dailybiblehabit.app from the email address you used to subscribe.

To avoid being charged for the next renewal, send your cancellation request at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period. We will confirm your cancellation by email within 1–2 business days.

When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Access ends at the conclusion of that period. You will not receive a partial refund of fees already paid for the current billing period unless you qualify under our refund policy below.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your initial subscription purchase, subject to conditions.

To qualify for a voluntary refund, you must:

  1. Submit your refund request within 30 days of your initial purchase by emailing support@dailybiblehabit.app;
  2. Demonstrate that you have actively used the Services for at least 7 consecutive days within the first 30 days of your subscription;
  3. Provide screenshots or other evidence of your active use of the Bible study plan assigned to you;
  4. Include the email address used for the original purchase along with your reason for the refund request.

The 30-day money-back guarantee applies only to your first subscription payment. Subscription renewals are non-refundable.

Statutory rights. Some users have additional refund rights under local law that apply on top of the voluntary guarantee above:

  • California and Connecticut residents may be entitled to a full refund within three (3) business days of the initial purchase, regardless of usage.
  • European Union residents have a 14-day cooling-off right under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU). However, by clicking "Subscribe" you receive immediate access to the Services and expressly waive this cooling-off right in exchange for immediate performance. See Terms of Service Section 7 for full detail.
  • Confirmed technical issues that prevent you from using the Services are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact support if this applies to you.

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

Price changes

We may change subscription pricing from time to time. Price changes apply only to renewals occurring after we notify you. You will receive reasonable advance notice of any price increase, and you can cancel before the new price takes effect.

If you originally subscribed at a promotional price, that promotional price applies only to your first billing period. Renewals are charged at the full subscription price disclosed at the time of your initial purchase.

Failed payments

If we cannot charge your payment method (for example, expired card or insufficient funds), we may attempt to charge again over the following several days. If payment continues to fail, we may suspend or terminate your access. You remain responsible for any fees owed.
